To whom it may concern:
I'm scheduled for a heart procedure on April 17th, 2026 and will be taking a 12 week medical leave of absence. I'll be returning by July 12th, 2026. In the meantime, if you need a notary public, I highly recommend Edgar Gonzalez. Edgar can be reached at edgarsnotarybiz@gmail.com or by phone at (916) 474-1663. I look forward to serving you in the near future.
Hi and welcome to S.B.K Notary Public. I offer a complete mobile notary service throughout the Greater Sacramento area for your convenience. I opened this notary public because I know how important this service is for people needing to get their documents taken care of carefully and properly the first time.
I've developed a great reputation with my clients due to my ability to help put people at ease when signing off for that large transaction. I have found a unique ability to quickly build rapport with my clients, whether that be the one time signer, Title Companies, Real Estate Professionals, or Attorneys looking to be able to offer a stable, dependable notary public to all their clients.
One of the more misunderstood things I have found, one that my signing clients often did not know, is that they have every right to select their own notary, even if another company is handling setting up the signings for the loan paperwork. What that means is the kind of trust and rapport that I develop with signers is something that can be carried forward for years to come when you need future services of my company. Keep that in mind as you look for a notary in the future!
Important Information to Know When Preparing for A Signing
- A Notary Public cannot give any legal advice
When I meet with you for signing, it is assumed that you will have all the knowledge about what it is you are signing. I cannot give you any legal advise on decisions to make on the documents themselves. The most a notary can do is explain the nature of the document itself
- Proof of Valid ID is essential in signing your documents
Valid ID will be one of the following:
- Current State Driver's License
- Valid State ID
- US Military ID Card
- Employee ID card issued by the State of California
- Valid Passport
- For privately arranged signings, prices are set per signature
If your signatures are arranged through a third party company such as a Title Company, your signing service will be prepaid and no additional payments should be required
- These are the general services I as a California Notary Public will perform
- Acknowledgement
For an acknowledgment, the signer is present before the Notary agent, then identified. The specific document requirements are then signed according to the type of notary.
- Proof of Execution by Subscribing Witnesses
A proof of execution by subscribing witness calls for individuals to watch the signer sign the document and prove witness by signing themselves. There must be two credible witnesses that has valid Federal or State ID (or who the notary personally knows) in attendance along with the notary.
- Jurat
A Jurat calls for the signer to personally appear to the notary, be identified, signs in the presence of the notary, and is administered an oath or affirmation declaring the truthfulness of the document.
- Oath/Affirmation
In Oaths or Affirmations, spoken promises of truthfulness made in the presence of the Notary (e.g., Oath of Office, witness for depositions, testimony) are signed as being made.
- Copy Certification
This simply means a Notary certifies a copy as an accurate reproduction of the original document.
- Powers of Attorney
To make a Power of Attorney (POA) in California, you must sign your POA in the presence of a notary public if you used a statutory form
